Project “Haskovo and Edirne – Cultural and Historical Destinations”

A Book scanner A2+ – Copibook Open System has been installed at the Regional Library “Hr. Smirnenski” for the implementation of the project “Haskovo and Edirne – Cultural and Historical Destinations”. It is equipped with a USB 3.0, 71 megapixel autofocus camera, also called Eagle. The Copibook OS is one of the few A2 format scanners that offers real-time color visualization, control of the scanning process and image quality. Scanning can be carried out on the whole format or in several specific areas, thanks to the ability to manage multiple storage frames. The Eagle Camera was created and produced by i2S as a result of 37 years of experience in digital imaging and processing. The V-level scales allow scanning of cased in bodies. The new appliance will be used for scanning of postcards, photographs and editions from the late 19th and early 20th century.
