The building of the Theatre “Ivan Dimov” is one of the emblematic architectural monuments of the town of Haskovo that dates back to 1930s. It was built in 1926 with municipal funds and donations from citizens. The theater has two halls for performances – a large theater hall with 260 seats and a small puppet theater hall with 110 seats. Access for disabled people is provided. The theater is named after one of the best dramatic and cinema actors in Bulgaria – Ivan Dimov, who was an actor and director in the town.
